Site History

In the early 2000's, I was about 10 years old when I learned HTML & CSS to decorate my Neopets shop and pet pages. Eventually I stumbled on cute pixel art sites and personal sites, BBS's like Candy Town & Teahouse, oekaki boards, dollz makers, and more. I miss seeing all the cute art and creative website designs so I decided to create one in December 2021 using Neocities.

I had made so many different personal websites and had been on Geocities, Tripod, Homestead, Angelfire, etc over the years. I was even hosted by some kind people too! Unforunately, I don't remember any of my site names or what user/names I was using then. Since I was young, I never used my real name online and would go by a different name every so often. From what I can remember, my art and websites weren't particulary good anyway!

Layouts

Version 1 - Pink Nostalgia (2021-2022, May 2024 - Current)

I originally designed the image for my SpaceHey profile and then I turned it into a layout for my site. I wanted to go for a simple compact kind of style because I always liked tiny layouts. I made Notepad-like content boxes since that's what I would use for coding my stuff back in the day and I also added a lace border that was really popular (still is, maybe?) for the smaller boxes.

As of 2026, the layout is now upscaled 2x with some minor changes to fit the screen better! My grandma eyes can't handle these itty bitty layouts no more.

Version 2 - Purple Mushroom RPG (January 2023 - May 2024)

Another pixel doodle that I made that I decided to use for a layout. I wanted to have a bit of a rpg theme and this time, the main color is purple. I wanted to try to make this layout more interactive so I tried to use more Javascript and some CSS mouseover effects. Definitely not mobile friendly! It didn't work with all browsers so I decided to go back to the Version 1 layout.
